Wish List

I try to keep an Amazon-based wishlist of stuff that I want. You can view Dave's Amazon Wishlist here. Right now there's a bunch of fencing stuff on there, and when that list is fulfilled, I will have enough gear for me and my older son to fence together--safely. There's one item missing from that list that you might notice, which is a mask for my son. I actually have a mask for him right now that I'm refurbishing, and when that's complete, I'll see if I can punch test it. If it passes, he'll use it. If it doesn't pass, he'll need one.

Music

I've been playing guitar since I was 17, so somewhere around 15 years now. I don't record very much, but I occasionally post something I record here. These songs are encoded using the Free ogg vorbis codec.

Fencing

This is a recently acquired hobby, starting in the Spring of 2007. I signed up for Fencing I as part of my degree, because I need a couple of PE credits. The class is so much fun, I'm now looking at other places to do it and accumulating the gear so I can continue to pursue it after I'm done with the class.

Note: After some time spent fencing, I found it really tore up my knees. I am probably going to refrain from fencing until I'm in a situation where I can regularly consult a doctor. I would like to fence without crippling myself.
